For about $12 American you have all FOUR of the lauded and seminal Starship Repo series, that's easily half what it would cost you for ONE novel that tries to usurp the name of this timeless space-opera saga. That's a fucking steal.

I don't know if he's struggling, he seems to have quite an impressive output across a number of different genres, plus he lives in small-town Virginia. Probably a modest blue-collar worker who likes to write as a hobby. The kind of man we could all do well to be like, if I'm being honest.

That isn't to say we shouldn't support an author if his work is compelling, gripping, entertaining, and meaningful, doesn't have to come from a "star-author" to be great literature, amirite?!?!

I've always been a supporter of "Outsider Art" from genuine, good-hearted people rather than overeducated industry fat cats.
