It’s awful. They shoehorn all these jokes. I was really hoping for it to be good considering Patton wasn’t going to be the majority of the show, but it fucking blows. RiffTrax or nothing.
The second season was better than the first; they left some room between jokes during the films instead of bludgening you with them. The host segments were still bad. Rifftrax all the way - Mike Nelson is one of the funniest joke writers ever, and they don't waste time on sketches.
I’ll try it, but it just isn’t the same without Murpy, Corbett or Beaulieu. God damn did I used to wait for that show to come on in the 90’s with anticipation.
