Pretty middling-to-bad thriller with James Woods, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Peter Greene. Should have been better given the premise, but everyone is just sleepwalking through it for the paycheck.
It came out yesterday in the UK. A old school friend went to see it at 3.45am and posted about it on Facebook. I called him a sad fucking manchild cunt.
I'm a high school football coach trying to move up to college and I enjoy the analysis and suspense. Plus, me and my dad have a tradition of ordering wings and watching together.
Thoughts on Kyler Murray? He's kind of an idiot but personally I think he'll be a beast if he goes to the right team. Idk if I've ever seen a qb as fast as he is that could throw as well as him
He struggled to beat out Kyle Allen at Texas A&M who's complete garbage, then all of a sudden he turns it on when he's under Lincoln Reilly? Nah, I don't see it. He's a product of his system and by all accounts is a moron on the whiteboard.
I'm actively rooting for him to go to the Giants because I think he'll bust hard.
He was a true freshman at A&M though, not everybody gets to be Trevor Lawrence. I think Reilly definitely elevated him, but you could make the same argument about Mayfield who wasn't great before Lincoln either.
I'll agree with the whiteboard stuff, he definitely needs to be in a QB friendly system to succeed I think.
I'm just a traditionalist when it comes to QBs. His arm talent is average at best and once you get to the NFL everyone is athletic enough to keep up with him.
If I was running a college system, I'd LOVE to have someone like Murray. Run read options, RPOs, and half field reads.
In the NFL, that kind of stuff is harder to pull off consistently. You need to be very very smart (or get carried by an elite defense) to be a Super Bowl winning QB. I don't know if he can ever do that. I mean, look at how Goff got exposed once the patriots realized McVay did all his thinking for him. I think Kyler would have to be in a very similar system and would be just as easy to expose.
I get that. Personally, I'm just really intrigued by his potential. Kyler is a pretty accurate passer despite his mechanics being a little wonky from baseball. I think that's what interests me most. Accuracy seems like a trait that you either have or you don't, it can't really be taught. And you almost never see QBs with that kind of mobility that are accurate passers.
But yeah, if he doesn't develop his mental part of the game it won't work out for him. Alabama sort of exposed him during the playoff, they did a good job of forcing him to stay in the pocket and make plays with his arm.
Yeah, Murray is the only one that interests me. Jones and Lock scream busts to me. Haskins might be decent, I guess. Rosen would probably be the top pick in this class, ironically.
I'm a Cowboys fan, so I've gotta wait until tomorrow for them to get someone. I'm hoping they go for a safety high though. They've needed a good safety for over a decade it seems like. I really like Johnathan Abram from Mississipi State or Juan Thornhill, but I think they'll be lucky f either of those guys fall that far. A DT wouldn't be a bad pickup either.
I'm so happy the Giants picked Daniel Jones lol. I like Dak, I think he's a good QB for the most part. He definitely has some issues though, especially with accuracy which I don't think he'll ever truly get rid of. I'm not super excited about the prospect of them paying him 30 mil a year. I love his attitude though, and he definitely improved as the season went on and he developed more of a rapport with the receivers. If Moore and Kitna work out I could see him being a Donovan McNabb type of player. How do you feel about him?
I don't think he's gonna be worth the big contract he's gonna get. He's a guy that needs elite talent around him. Great intangibles, great attitude, great person. Average QB. I think paying him big money will put us in Dalton, Tannehill, Flacco territory for years.
I can definitely see that. I don't think he'll ever be consistent enough to be great. I do think they can win with him at quarterback though, but it's going to take the right coaches and smart front office moves. I'm hoping they wait to see how next season plays out before they pay him.
I just watched it it was surprisingly good. I didn't know there was going to be so much rape in, that was a little weird. But the scene where Iron Man drugged and raped peter parker was handled very tastefully.
Thanks to this sub, and people posting their spoilers to Patrick Tomlinson, I already know what happens every 5 minutes in the movie, right down to Iron Man drinking a soda.
Yeah, a friend said he'd buy my ticket, so I'll be going Tuesday. And I'll post a video of me crying after Captain America dies taking Thor's hammer up the ass to get the raccoon up there further, because if I'm getting called a faggot I'm going all out.

If I don't go see it on Sunday I'll probably just wait until it's on Netflix.

I'm not even sure what endgame is. I think it's GOT shit?
Idk, I'm watching the draft.

Get some grapefruit IPAs, too. That’s cool.

I unironically enjoy Schofferhofer grapfruit beer and might tell my dad to pick some up on the way home.
Everyone's a little bit gay. You just gotta embrace it.

We'll see, I've been wrong before, but I don't like any of the QBs in this class.

I agree with that. I was really high on Lock before watching him more this year. Now I've soured on him.
What team do you follow and who are you hoping they draft?

What about you?
1 Guac_Bowl_Cuck 2019-04-25
I'm a Cowboys fan too.
My ultimate hope is that one of the two iowa tight ends fall into the second and we make a reasonable trade up.
I'm with you on pretty much everyone else. It's tough to say because we pick so late.
What are your feelings on Dak?

I think he can win only if he's cheap enough to have the talent around him. He'll never win being paid as a top 5 guy.

Shut the fuck up, the both of you.
1 Guac_Bowl_Cuck 2019-04-25
