I see you ride a specialized. Ever ride any bikes that are a 1x? I recently got into 1xs since I never really use many of the higher or lower gears in front
I haven’t, no. I went from an old hard tail mountain bike straight to road bikes as I like riding for distance. I stay mostly on small ring in front too, trying to keep my cadence higher.
My Allez is stock aside from and upgrade on the wheels, I burned the other ones up after about 1400 miles last year. Looking at the Roubaix Elite for next year, possibly.
if you go out looking for new bikes, try out some of the 1xs I was sold after trying it. I had a Giant Iguana that recently shit the bed on me after several years. I decided I wanted a toy, so I bought an electric. A class 3 one. The thing fucking rips.
