Gregg and Tranpa completely believed that they were going to supplant Howard, that Sirius was going to fail and that XM would be the king of radio with themselves at the forefront.

Instead Howard was a huge success with Sirius, Sirius bought XM, O&A were shunted into a tiny studio, they were once more forced to comply with Howard's restrictions and the show was eventually destroyed by Sirius., with the fans turning on the pompous ginny making his life a living hell.
