Congratulations to Opie Radio on reaching 100 episodes!

Just putting up the numbers and doing his own thing. Hanging out with his friends for a quality grapefruit beer or having a casual interview with some small time celebs. No big deal.

While his former co-hosts lose thousands of dollars on AIDS medication, tranny tokens, failed media networks, and permanant markers, Opie's just sitting on smart investments and savings, enjoying time with his beautiful aryan family, and sharing his 100% free podcast hobby with the fans. Listen or don't it's totally cool brothermen.

With all this change in the air, can we give up the Opie doesn’t fucking suck bit and get real about that again? Just throwing that out there.

Opie does suck. 100 episodes doesn’t mean jack shit if not one of us listens to it. For all the Opie lovers, lets get some rundowns of these awesome podcasts you love so much?

Hot take

Thanks.

Who's not being real? Opie is objectively the least awful of the three.

You’re absolutely right..That’s become clear over the last year or so. For myself at least, out of the ironic adoration and fawning I actually saw that he wasn’t so bad, just an awkward corny guy, but not a monster. He was kind of shitty at radio, but not completely, and who cares. He’s got a beautiful wife, special children and millions in the bank. He gave people opportunities. I guess I should have been specific about the adoration being the bit, and at this point there’s an understanding about him, I didn’t mean to shit on your post.

No worries friend. I ragged on his podcast at the beginning but quickly realized he was just hanging out with his friends, having a good time, and sharing his fun with the world for absolutely no charge. He unironically steered the ship (as proven by the others' abysmal products since splitting with him) and just does his own thing. Even if you don't listen it's nice to congratulate Opie on going on forging his own path and moving on from O&A.

Cheers brothaman. It’s all relative, and I think a lot of the old fans had hopes for Ant and Jim to take things to the next level 3-5 years ago, but they each shat the bed so hard in their own ways, regressed even, then you throw fucking Sam Roberts into the mix, that Opie came out on top and didn’t debase himself nearly as much as they did along the way. Whether or not they needed him steering the ship all those years (they kinda did), he’s definitely not the scuuummmbag Chip and Ant have passive aggressively portrayed him to be.

That’s not hard to do

Daddy whats a tranny token?

I listened to Ep.1 and Ep.100 and Opie is so much better at podcasting now. I still wouldn't listen, but I can imagine he has a market and an audience now. It's listenable.
