Nothing wrong with working at Panera. It's better than, say, being a failed author, being in a cover band as a "career" or being an unemployed loser who has to steal $50 items from small businesses.
I love how this place just folds shitty insults into its lexicon and it almost turns into its own language. There are four interesting stories behind this title alone but to anyone from the outside looking in thinks its non-sense.

It's good, honest work, and people come to use for our sandwiches, we don't have to foist them on unsuspecting bar patrons.

I take pride in being a humble dough jockey at my local Panera. I wear that "insult" like a badge of honor.

I thought you were in the beginning stages of putting together an OnA sub simulator.

To be honest, I don’t know the genesis of the Panera insult. I only saw Joe idiotically saying Panera Bread waiter in his impromptu AMA.

It was from when Ant tried to doxx a sub member.

So those are the skills you get from decades of hosting a comedy show.
