Poor Gregg Hughes, having to work with a passive-aggressive prop comic with a phone addiction, and an ungrateful alcoholic, racist pedophile who was always late. All he wanted to do was cover relevant news stories and not feel ostracized from his own show—two things his co-hosts never gave him.

It says a lot about Gregg as a person that Patrice would complain on-air that the two of them never had lunch together anymore. Even The Worm has stated multiple times that Opie was fun to hang out with outside of work.

It was working with Nana and Jim “This Winter is Fucking Endless” Norton that turned Gregg into a bitter, paranoid mess. Who could blame him?

Opie was utterly terrible on the show. He contributed nothing of worth and would constantly derail the show because of his pathetic insecurity. Can we stop with this revisionist history? I feel like I'm surrounded by holocaust deniers -- which wouldn't be as bad.
