I don't know all the different kinds of lentils, but they have a huge array of them in the mideast and Indian foods isle at my local grocery store...but they are little red lentils that turn mushy yellow once cooked. I make a stew with those and a grain blend, and chicken thighs and legs. Fucking amazing in the winter.

Yeah I remember all of that. He seemed "off" and even more troubled once he got out of prison. They had him medicated and he just got weirder than usual.
