There's a lot of weird, rapey Arab/Iranian cab drivers where I live but I agree with this. The two best cab/Uber experiences I've ever had here were all with Iranians and they were the nicest people I've ever met. First guy was just happy I knew about Mossadegh and the other guy gave me a book of Persian poetry.
