It seems like everyone is dealing with false copyright strikes everywhere you go. It sucks the internet has such a broken censorship exploit with the current DMCA system. How do you even go about combating this? And I can’t believe how hypocritical Rogan is on this one. Nice taking a bovine under your wing as a comedian, stupid.
It really is amazing how jobless borderline retarded scum like Joe Cumia and Jason Blaha can manipulate YouTube's system and have good fair use material deleted with impunity.
This isn’t new, he’s done this shit in the past. Did you ever watch roganwatch? It was a YouTube channel that only uploaded short clips from Rogan’s podcast of him either saying something racist, lusting after ufc fighters, or saying something really dumb. He got that channel banned years ago
I mistakenly thought the majority of JRE viewers semi-worshipped Joe, so it was great to see the comments under the new Schaub episode asking about the removal of the Beige documentary. This takedown, the recent Jack Dorsey episodes and all the other shady shit he's done over the years should be talked about more by other YouTubers but sadly nothing ever seems to stick to the teflon thumb. Porsalin was way too soft on him.
It amazes me how successful Rogan and his circle of cunts are. None of them are funny, it's just a gang of shitty sycophants and their humourless, shouty, midget overlord.
More than anyone, Rogan needs one of these docs made about him. The one Porsalin made was shit, missed major points and reached for others.
Porsalin has talent but I don't enjoy his videos at all because he tries way too hard to be funny, and he ends up stealing focus away from the subjects he covers. His Rogan video is still up because it was more like a gentle roast than anything else. Joe is a hateful bully with a dark past, so I was very disappointed at how light it was. The Sam and Jimmy docs were way too gentle also.
He really does try way too hard. Beige is way better at picking his spots. Porsalin does good work, but someone should tell him to stop pretending to be a comedian. It gets cringy listening to all those quips churning through that grating accent of his.
I agree. Porsalin has the potential to deliver a devastating blow to people who truly deserve it but those endless quips seem to be his main focus. Every video relies heavily on firing out needlessly multisyllabic (and often alliterate) insults one after another with little to no breathing room. The narrative kinda gets lost in the process, as does much of the natural humor that would arise if he just let the material speak for itself.
The endless quips also obscure the fact that his videos are really not that critical; I see comments on YouTube where people congratulate him on his vicious insults but he pulls so many punches when it comes to known facts, it just feels frustrating. I'm probably being too harsh, as his aim seems to be to mock and roast his subjects, not expose them (fair enough!), but I wish he wouldn't hold back sometimes.
If Vimeo is better, they’ll stop being better once they make it big. This big companies don’t want the hassle of actually dealing with this shit. They’ll slap on like 9 ads in a row because they know that we will deal with their shit
I haven't seen an ad on YouTube in over 6 years, but I get what you're saying. However, engaging in business with inherent legal entanglements and shirking your responsibility to adhere to federal due process therein seems tantamount to negligence.
I'm a chemical producer, but I can't be bothered to adhere to proper implementation of the Clean Air Act. I'll just blame it on the indigineous animals for dying and hope they don't countersue.

Of course, this is fairly common but doing so you make yourself liable for billions in damages. I can't see that happening with YouTube.
Because of that abortion of a law, the DMCA. If youtube wrongfully respond to a claim by taking down the video, nobody can sue them. If copyrighted works systematically stay up there, though, they can get hit hard by rights holders accusing them of inaction. It's simply the prudent way for them to do business, from a compliance perspective.
The real problem is the lecherous, rent-seeking entertainment industry getting these shit laws passed and the corrupt politicians doing their bidding.
Fuck him for this, but can't lie and say he's not my favorite podcaster. He asks the right questions, and he lets his guests toke herb if they feel like it. The Bob Lazar one is so dope.
Keep waiting for the Destroyer. Hoping Opie starts some shit.

The fact that f@t&!©k managed to take down not only oanda 2.0 but scorch (💎💎👌) which was an older sub , for something as trivial as copyright infringement bc people posting his social media is mind boggling and for some reason there was no appealing it(I am not trying to suggest that all of the 33 supreme moderators where lazy incompetent faggots)

What an idiotic and backwards system. Why is the burden of proof on the accused and not the accuser?
JXSXPH CXMXX (allegedly) brokers sexual access to his brood of children for his brother, XNTHXNY, in exchange for a kept woman's allowance.
The adjudicator automatically finds the accused guilty.. Unless he can disprove the negative that this didn't happen.
Bunch of anti-American communists. Is Vimeo any better?
