Twitter has completely dominated his entire life for the last five years. He lost his job over it, his current show is a load of garbage because he's busy tweeting and puts nothing into it, he even titled his "book" based on it. He literally lives to tweet. He wakes up, starts drinking and jumps right back into the daily online news cycle and keeps going until he passes out in the wee hours. He even tweets when he's out with friends or on vacation. It's totally deranged.
When my dad was 59 he was planning his retirement at a lake house with his boat and his awesome wife. Anthony plans on what tweet he will make next. Whata fucking loser.
Most men his age have families, interests and/or hobbies to pursue or otherwise keep them busy. Plus they have the responsibilities of real life to attend to. They don't have the time, energy or desire to spend every waking hour staring at screens and working themselves into a lather over Drudge Report. If anyone...anyone at all...really loved Anthony they'd take a hammer to his fingers.
