Reminder: Despite being a high school dropout and former laborer, Anthony Cumia thought he was intelligent enough to talk about politics, class, race and other societal topics for decades.

I repeat: the fucking guy didn’t graduate HIGH SCHOOL. How the Opester didn’t bring that up during every on-air argument is beyond me.

I think Greg really wanted to try and repair his relationship with Anthony. I think Anthony never really understood that not having a friendship with your radio partner leads to non compelling radio.

Opie is just a good person that wanted to help and support his buddy Anthony, a man he’d known and worked with for 20 years.
Anthony couldn’t handle the fact that Opie didn’t want his cum bucket sitting on his lap every day while they do radio, and Nana has held a grudge ever since

The amazing thing is AntH thought he was the victim and would get sympathy by telling people he shirked his responsibilities and unprofessionally had his girlfriend not only in studio but also sitting on his lap while on air on an almost daily basis.

And did the same with Dani during the Colin Quinn interview. The ol professor never learned.

Knowing what we know now as far as how bad their relationship was, listening back Opie is a saint. He was still referring to Ant as his friend on the radio. Still being a professional. Even while Ant was calling him a cunt because Opies brother didn't give him the proper celebrity treatment at FH Riley's

Made poker chips with opies face, torpid sloth t shirts etc.
Honestly if my radio partner who i know is a secret pedo did that to me i would spill the beans. Opie truly is a saint

Anthony didnt understand that because mentally he is 12. Boobs and guns hahaha holy shit

Not going to college is one thing but not graduating high school is Bobo-tier retarded, and even he probably has his diploma
1 UnemployedOpie 2019-08-01
Assuming Bobo didn't go to a special school, can you imagine how exhausting he would be to deal with in a classroom setting? Just rambling about nothing and absorbing absolutely nothing as well.

I remember Bobo mentioning he graduated on air once. Bobo, a literal fucking retard, is more educated than Anthony, Joe and even Jim Nordon.

Fucking high bar that is.

It’s often the least educated and informed who are the most insistent on sharing their opinion. It’s how they try to compensate for feeling inadequate.

Anthony and especially Moomoo are Dunning-Kruger incarnate.
1 TheElDan 2019-08-01
There’s a good bit where they bust on Bob Kelly for always overexplaining national news to compensate for what a boob he is, all while of course ignoring the fact that Jim and Anthony literally do that for a living. At least Burr occasionally acknowledges he’s an idiot and full of shit.
1 Ant_Sucks 2019-08-01
I don't think it's inadequacy. I think it's the opposite. They are too stupid to know how stupid they are so confuse opinions for knowledge.

Agreed. If we all know one thing about AntH and Norton, it is their complete lack of self awareness.

If Anthony spent his twitter/neo Nazi forum time reading actual books he could have been moderately successful with his solo act.
1 QadanGoesBallistic 2019-08-01
Opie and Jimmy had absolutely no intellectual curiosity whatsoever.
Anthony at least read books about war, as Dennis Leary would say.
1 Terahite 2019-08-01
Watching WW2 docs on the Hitler Channel is not reading.
1 ScarletNumbered 2019-08-01
We were dumb enough to hang on every word.
1 SensibleKeks 2019-08-01
I find it ironic that Opie graduated with a communications degree but is absolutely garbage on the radio and incapable of doing radio by himself.
Probably explains why Lynsi fucks Bam Margera on a regular basis.
1 pephix 2019-08-01
Is SensibleKeks the name of AntH's secret 10th alt Twitter account when his 9th account inevitably gets banned for lifetime ban evasion?

my favorite was when Prof. Anthony fell on his face everything he got into technology or science discussion, I used to cringe and cringe...

These things in themselves don't disqualify (or qualify) someone from being intelligent enough with politics, class, race, sociology. Norm MacDonald was a high school drop-out (I think he once said grade 9 was his last completed grade). Norm is brilliant and wise with a lot of those topics.
Fading memory but I don't know that Patrice Oneal graduated. I do feel like he might have but it was probably an 'inner city school' so that's like what.. Grade 7 or 8 level by normal school standards.
It's worth mentioning that you can find a million people who have degrees in those topics who are absolute and utterly confused fucktards and so are their professors.
But point well taken. He was frequently going off on nonsense without a care or clue. Opie was probably too dumb to know the difference anyway.
1 safka13 2019-08-01
Patrice went to college. I think he had two scholarships, one was a football one which he turned down imo.

"studying performing arts at the university, with a major in theater studies"
Oh hah.. okay like not real stuff.
Sometimes you get a better understanding of politics, social issues, the human condition via what they now call an 'uneducated' working class sort of person. They have less poison, brainwashing and specialized bullshit in their brains and see life more like the impartial observer.
Nana notwithstanding. whatever 'notwithstanding' means. I dunno,no law school for me.

Anthony had an above average ability to remember completely useless information like old commercials and a few details about rocket science he watched on modern marvels. That's how he got the ironic nickname "Professor Anthony." Somewhere along the line, he was praised by enough uneducated truckers that he started believe that he was intelligent and his opinions on society and politics were valuable.
1 JuiceBusters 2019-08-01
Credit where it's due - he was good at that.

There are people in real life with no high school diploma or anything I've encountered I still wonder how they even made it as far as they did in their lives. Usually, really skilled at one or two areas, and complete dumbasses in everything else.
That's how I see Ant. Just happened to be funny enough to get out of that situation he was in, and then by the end of his tenure at Sirius XM and after, he phoned nearly everything in.
