I'm beginning to think he is legitimately retarded. Is it possible that everyone else is just being nice to him for that reason and he doesn't know any better?

  • Carol is actually a nurse hired to look after him. She's "a squirter" is him not realizing what sex actually is. She's giving him intravenous injections to stop his brain shutting down because he forgets to breathe or something.

  • His $60k is mostly pocket money to entertain him and the rest is going on bills that are paid for him. He can't count so he's spending a few bucks here and there buying fake guitars. He buys SAMCRO clothing like a genuine retard with a TV show interest that nobody takes seriously.

  • He got to play with the Blue Oyster Cult because they're good guys who are aware of his condition. Look how he behaves. He's like a retard who gets to hang out with a guy dressed up like Batman visiting the hospital.

  • When he's driving in "The Joseph Lane" he's actually in the back seat being driven somewhere. It's a van transporting the mentally disabled so they have a dispensation for using the shoulder.

The problem is this theory falls apart because Ant is a piece of shit who wouldn't have anything to do with a family member that needs him.

It baffles me how he thinks that people who are banned from this sub in some way represent the sub's values.

I get that he thinks that 3000 constantly-squabbling ex-fans of a show somehow share the same set of values - it's stupid, but I can see how he'd struggle with the idea that a vast group of people might have differing opinions. He almost gets it when he says "The sub loves Opie... but.. the sub also hates Opie" and then his brain flatlines again and cognition's over for the day.

But how did he get the idea that we banned those nutjobs because we agree with them?
