The only people I have ever seen claim kids that they weren't actually supporting as their own were deadbeats who were in court claiming they were broke and couldn't afford lawyers, court costs etc. The court sometimes gives them a break from wage garnishment or repossession of houses if it means they can't take care of their kids. It is always funny when someone denies it and they get caught. In Joe's case his woman's kids are supported by her and SSI from their dad's death. His biological daughter is supported by his ex and I am sure more than anything else, carol is supporting joe with the state's money.
