About the Joe Cumia situation.

I plan on making a longer video talking about this after I'm done with Brendan Schaub but I felt like I should post a brief explanation here so people have a general idea of what is going on.

This is just part of a larger problem I've been having with Joe. Ironically, even though Joe has complained about people impacting his livelihood, he has spent months trying to take my videos down in whatever way he possibly can. He's filed multiple privacy complaints and copyright claims against my videos. He was unsuccessful at getting the Joe Cumia videos on my channel taken down, but after he successfully copyright struck the intro for part 5 I made part 5 and Brother Joe Rides again private as a precaution against any fuckery. They will not remain private forever, though. A few months at most.

In the meantime, I'm looking into other options to keep the videos online. I ran into problems trying to upload them to bitchute but I'll keep trying. I may also try Dailymotion or Vimeo and if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Also, I'm sure there are people who have archived the videos and I don't care what they do with them. With the way Joe has been obsessively DMCAing everything, if a question of how long will the videos stay up.

Some people are saying that I should fight the claim or make burner accounts and file counter notifications with fake names. The problem is that Joe has nothing to lose from filing false DMCA's and nothing better to do than spend all day filing them. My plate is pretty full right now. I don't want to get too personally but I have a terminally ill family member and taking care of them eats up a lot of my time. This is unfortunately why videos have been taking increasingly longer and longer periods of time to make.

This might anger some people, but I would rather work on new videos and try to grow my channel than spend my time fighting with a failed musician who can't even get his kid to school. That being said, I'm trying to find another site where I can upload the videos for you guys to watch and which will be difficult for joe to get them taken down with false claims.

One final note, I'd be interested in what u/DOXXER100 has to say about censoring people's work and filing copyright claims, given that his livelihood is based upon copying other people's music.

1) Send the doc link to anyone with a history on the sub so they can download and re-upload it for you to various sites (a la the Paramore vids).

2) Bring the issue to Kiwi Farms, the Cumias have their own threads there and they love DMCA claims.

3) Put a titlecard on all docs with a Fair Use notice (see the YourMovieSucks Youtube channel).
