He treated Andy as an equal the first go around. Then Andy left to go take over Hollywood when he got a series. Once that flopped, Andy was nowhere to he seen for years. Once Conan got The Tonight Show, Andy came slinking back. Conan had the grace to rehire him, but strictly as a lesser.
