My legal thoughts on Joe's "Cease and Desist Order"

Some fella tagged me for comment and I briefly skimmed it prior to deletion.

First, it's not an order. Joe can't issue orders. It's a request. That's it. A request for people who are doing the things he alleges in the request to stop doing those things or he will take legal action.

While Joe attempted to "formalize" this request with some gobbledygook he found online, it's legally not all that different than the same requests he's made no less than 100x.

What he's trying to imply is this is a legal line in the Sand. You're "on notice.". I'm guessing he went to a lawyer who told him "why don't you just ask them to stop??" To which Joe probably said he has. And then the lawyer, probably super annoyed at this consult, said, "you need to send it in an official legal form". It wasn't legal advice. It was "How can I end this meeting with this idiot" advice.
