Off topic: Overall quality of reddit lately

I know this isn’t sub related but has anyone else noticed a huge drop off in quality of posts through all of reddit? With most the other subs I frequent, I’ve noticed a glut of posts that are either unrelated or loosely related to the subs subject or just total shitposts or blatant self-promotion posts.

Since reddit lowered the ban hammer on so many subs and cleansed the site of “wrong think” the entire site has really turned to shit. I mean worse than the shit it already was.
