Anyone enjoy lucky Louie? I don't think it's half bad considering the bad acting

Laughtracks kill any comedy for me, i just cant watch anything that tells me when to laugh

It was in front of a live audience you ignorant faggot

Read the second part of the sentence angel

No

I was at several of them. They shot at shit hole Hollywood Center Studios, and often could barely fill even 3/4 of the seats. They apparently would even bring in homeless people from Santa Monica blvd sometimes. I was at the one where Rick Shapiro got naked, it was pretty goddamn funny.

It’s...it’s not very good. However, I don’t even like Louis’ FX show. Too artsy. Also, Jim Norton sucks, so that’s probably why I didn’t like the former.

Louie was great, not all of the episodes were good but Never diarrheaing in the bath was hysterical

Louie was great. I thought a lot of them especially the Doug Stanhope, Michael Rappaport, the elevator and the David Lynch episodes were outstanding. Even Aziz tried to copy the show with Master of None which I thought was horrible.

Lucky Louie is great. It's an old school style sitcom combined with Louie's antics. Highly recommend

I bought the dvd just to check it out and wasnt impressed at first. It grew on me towards the later episodes tho. I think his show on FX was far better but Lucky Louie does have its moments.

Loius even sneaked-in himself being caught jerking-off

I just can't do it. Norton's acting is atrocious. The scene where he pretends to be retarded gave me such bad douche chills I almost killed myself from secondhand embarrassment.

I would bet even back then any of us still felt it was cringey seeing Norton's "character" wearing an oversized O&A shirt.

Louie should have just called the character Rich instead of Jim.

Imagine torpedoing your own passion project to cast who you thought was a good friend, even though that friend is fucking terrible at acting. Then that "friend" stabs you in the small of your back when you needed him, or anyone, the most. Jesus christ.

Louis showed us his dick with no warning!

That's what that was?

Lucky Louie was great compared to his FX show: a ‘comedy’ devoid of laughs. I’ve heard bad things about Horace & Pete too.

I think his recent leaked stand-up set is his best work and hope to see more stuff like that in the future.

Alan Alda was great in H&P, he saves the show

I haven't seen it since it was on, but I enjoyed it at the time.

The daughter turned out to be a looker.
