Sure but regardless of the true number they do sell Apple isn’t heavily subsidizing the iphone either. Considering the amount of views YouTube gets on a daily basis advertisers are definitely paying them big money.

I was just giving an example that it wasn’t illegal or especially shady for Google to do that. In my opinion, YouTube doesn’t clear a profit but it has almost all the traffic so it’s valuable in that sense. Apple started doing it because no matter how many iPhones they sold it was never enough for Wall Street.
