Was it even a comedy? The premise didn't interest me at all. Still when I look it up seems like it got pretty good reviews as well as a couple golden globes and Emmy nominations.

Yeah it was a gay happy feel-good show so I'm sure plenty of middle-aged women thought it funny and cute. There's a couple of funny parts but it's overshadowed by the extremely gay style of show that it is, trying to pull at your heartstrings over a rich fat man pretending to be a mental midget in an old folks home.

my problem with it is that when christians ask that question is that it is often hypocritical, they take values they themselves find important and then apply them to christianity and make their own version of it, using christianity only as an authority instead of a guide. They make their own personal jesus, they'll say shit like "thats not jesus i know, i know the lgbt-friendly/black/white etc... jesus". They are just following their own self-decided morals and using christianity as a justification for it. Then gasp at the idea that someone isn't adhering to divine command or natural theology.
