I've only seen like 40 seconds of cricket in my life but I remember it cracking me up that the pitcher took like a 10 step run up to his throw that looked like he was going to absolutely launch the ball and then he stopped completely and just lobbed the ball underhand slow as shit.
It's weird because that's one of the most famous balls in cricket history and it's only ever happened once in the modern era. The guy did that to prevent the other player on the last ball of the game from scoring what's effectively a home run in cricket and it created a big fuss. (You probably don't care but I'm as cricket obsessed as the rest of the nation.)
Ho can anything be unsportsmanlike to be strategically done to win? Doesn’t sound like you’re saying he was doing it to gloat or something, sounds gay as shit idk
I guess it's about staying within the spirit of fair competition. Though technically legal at the time -- now illegal -- the underarm ball was considered unfair.
Another thing to note is there is a whole heap of unstated ethical positions which players are expected to live up to. It's not supposed to be as cut throat as other sports. There's even a phrase 'that's not cricket' which is part of the language which means being unfair.
Idk you said “one of the most famous in the modern era” so I assumed it was a high stakes postseason or championship game, in which no one would look down on him for just playing to win, and it it was a just a low stakes regular season game , idk why a guy breaking an unspoken rule because it “wasn’t cricket” was memorable or something that didn’t happen a lot,, idk I’m gonna go out on a limb and say crucket sounds gay dude, all sports basically dumb as down and advertise to us in the easiest ways but ours are at least the better ones
Most of the Hispanics in baseball (especially from DR) are either 100 percent black or heavily mixed. Only the Cubans, and a few of the Venezuelans and Ricans, are white hispanics. Not all black people are yard apes. Pedro Martinez is one of the most intelligent and best best pitchers of all time.

Do you guys even have baseball in Australia or do you play some entirely different game with nonsense rules and call it Australian Boiseball?

We play it but cricket is too popular here and picks up all the talent with the same skills so we're not that good.

By being unsportsmanlike, you blithering retard.

But if it was strategic to win, and not an excessive gesture beyond that, then that sounds like it’s just playing the game, stupid

Don’t disrespect the greatest left handed pitcher of all time.

It's not even a job, you literally say "stay ahead of the count" and there's a 50/50 shot they do it.
Baseball is so bad most black people want nothing to do with it.

The last part is what makes baseball great. No colors allowed.
1 JD_Free 2019-06-22
Most black people want nothing to do with baseball because it takes patience and an IQ above 85 to play at a high level.
That’s the actual reason.
