I think I cracked it. He sincerely craves contact with real people but can't actually handle the give and take reality that comes with it. Unlike Opester who would live chat his 'fans' during live streams, Ant knows he couldn't handle confronting the pedestrian pleb. He treats twitter as a instant messenger, only he's got the absolute control over the damage being done (banning people, deleting tweets)
He has no other way to contact people with any kind of fame. Nobody is lining up to appear on his "network" and he can't even retain hosts. Yelling his tired old shitty jokes at the same people over and over is all he has.
He mutes you when you make him cry. His followers however don’t Gives a helpful gang of do gooders a chance to share cumia history with his new proud boy fans and followers.

Imagine if he put this much time and effort in his network. Or just his own show. We could have something CLOSE to being as good as Nopie shows.
