Joe Cumia (brother to famous Anthony Cumia of Opie and Anthony) will be performing one man show "The Solo Joe Acoustic Show" at Tiki Joe's Beach Club at Captree Boat Basin on Saturday August 10, 2019 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm! What is this show you may be asking yourself. Well....

With 100's of songs committed to memory, this one man band doesn't need to rely on an ipad or pre-recorded backing tracks to entertain for hours on end. Every genre, from "oldies" of the 50's and 60's, "classic rock" of the 80's and 90's to modern country, pop, and top 40 are performed by The Solo Joe Acoustic Show. He only uses his ipad to look up lyrics and music when he is asked to play a request. This is one of the highlights of The Solo Joe Show. "Stump the guitarist"... You might get one over on him once in a while, but it becomes a game of sorts for his audiences to try. He'll attempt any song the audience may request, from Celine Dion to Metallica, TV themes to Commercial Jingles....If he's heard it, he'll try anything ...once.

The Solo Joe Show can do what many solo acts simply can't, by using state of the art gear and his love for entertaining a crowd. With a "looper" on his guitar for creating his own backing tracks on the spot, and a "smart vocal harmonizer" for adding 2 additional vocals to his performance on the fly, you'd swear that you're listening to a full band at a listenable volume and a very reasonable fee.

His demo video is raw and unproduced. In other words, what you see (and hear) in the video is exactly what you'll get when you hire him. No fancy "production techniques" were used in the recording process. The microphone, guitar, and the exact gear he uses in that video is what he brings to his live performance.

This NY based guitarist/singer/songwriter has been playing guitar for 52 years, and performing professionally for 40 of them. He's performed at countless Wineries on the East End of Long Island, and many others up and down the East Coast of the USA. He's a Club "regular" out at Westhampton CC on the posh East end of Long Island NY, and he's an absolute favorite at wedding receptions, Cocktail hours, Gated Communities, Lounges and Casinos across the Country. He's a perfect fit for any size "Heavy/Mellow" gathering, without sacrificing any of the excitement of seeing a full scale band performance.

Why are you trying to get his gigs cancelled?
Isn't it worse to show up for a gig and have 9 people there?

Go to bed Joe

To bed? I'm in my 60's. I go to bed at 3pm. This is my next day.

Joe I am ACTIVELY promoting your show. Be thankful! More people will see your show info here than on a restaurant website.

Also quick side question: you mentioned that your tribute band 2U has been "officially" endorsed by U2. Can you link me that information? It seems I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.

I feel you. It's like P.T. Barnum coming to down in the late 1880's. You'll need your own railcars.

Yea exactly, I drive a Stanley Steamer road car it takes me a mile and a half to stop this thing after I hit the brakes.

So he's raw, unproduced and doesn't use any fancy gear and he entertains the crowd by using fancy gear to sound like a whole band. Well, OK then.
