I think its probably because of the extremely strigent data laws the EU recently introduced, so the ban on europeans would be more for the site owners sake rather than any individual forum member.

It says nothing about why that is but i assume it's data protection shit. I'm not scared to go on for my own sake, but if it's to protect the site against some law that could shut it down then i don't want to be the iceberg that sank one of our boats.
don't know much else, i came in from work and the site had gone down with a message saying it'll be down for the foreseeable future and been put back up again. And a mod quit. Even for this place, it's been a day of peerless faggotry
