You know better than that, and coming from another fellow intern you should especially know better than that. Cumulus media, one of the largest radio companies in the country which hosts include Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin couldn’t support Opie. Where’s he gonna go CBS? IHeartRadio or likely to where he really belongs, obscurity. You know he won’t shell out any of his money for equipment, he’s too cheap and he thinks that’s beneath him. He’s not competent enough to put his own show together and won’t actually hire someone who knows what they are doing ( see too cheap). He’ll likely stick to making videos looking and sounding like a homeless person.
It's more about the ego trip and cowardice than being cheap. He needs to be at a place that gives him HIS GUYS (the equipment is just part of the associated image) that are stationed underneath him, and for the givers of those guys to be corporate big wigs. That way he can berate underlings constantly, with the ever-present implied threat that the big wigs will always do whatever he wants because he's the talent and the only thing that matters. It's his lifelong strategy for making money while enjoying being a cunt. No surprise it eventually cost him every last one of his peers/fake friends.
Maybe people still don't know this but Opie is a compulsive liar. He knows he's fired but he'll insist that he isn't because he thinks that will trick people.
I can't wait until they hire some new-age shithead who hasn't steered a vessel in their entire life. Westwood One will come back to OP-9000 groveling, you heard it here first
I don't care so much about him getting fired, you can get his podcast anywhere. I am a little sick over Nana being happy about it. I still keep track of these 2 because Opie's show isn't half bad and nana has to be close to either a breakdown or bankruptcy and I don't want to miss it.

Likely didn’t re-sign him, he’s gotta play it off.

Or his numbahs were so good that he didn’t need their branding/promotion any longer.

It was sarcasm, yes, I know companies don’t remove shows for being too successful

The Opie love ironically or un-ironically is awful. Opie deserves just as much hate/ blame as anyone else.

The Opester will have a lot of wacky unverifiable adventures before admitting that they didn't renew his contract 6 months from now.

He sucks so bad at lying. I almost think it's just so lyndsi thinks he is still employed or making moves because nobody else believes his nonsense .

His latest episode uploaded on Spotify today. So that's weird.

We’re so far down the Joe rabbit hole that we missed this one that’s been going down for days now.
I couldn’t tell you anything Opie, Anthony, or Jim have done for months and I check this place 5x a day.

opie is still promoting upcoming episodes and tim sabean is retweeting that stuff everyday. not sure why tim would do that if he was fired.
