I bet a lot of stand up comedians known of this place and use to frequent. Just shows how they're a bunch of shills but watching as it came apart. Watching from the sidelines, they'd rather let comedy fade out into cringe instagram profiles then keep old traditions anyways.

They deserve their skinny generational wave of trans comedians. Seriously I don't know of a single funny comedian who is under 35.

I saw a dude last night who came on stage and told 10k people they were fags within the first 3 minutes of his set. And he was a fucking opener.

That was probably doug stanhope.

I’m trying to find out who it was. It was an opener for Joe Rogan. I was working the event, so I didn’t check the program, or ticket subs. Guy wasn’t bad.

Insult comedy. True insult comedy is dying out. Too many people with faggot hearts and not enough confidence in that arena to just go out and throw whatever you want at people.

Everyone thinks they’re profound now, half the comedians coming up today probably haven’t seen a single stand up before 2004.

There's no one left.

Anybody with anything interesting to say has died or given into this ritualistic social media hivemind agenda, abandoning anything they represented or stood for. Anyone who you have ever found mildly humorous is either gone, never to speak on the state of things... or they are shells of themselves either consciously or unknowingly cannibalizing their own personas for the sake of shallow reputation.

Don't blame the young comics, pity them. It's not their fault they're so fucking weak. Can't blame them for being coddled from birth and forced fed every piece of shit movie and show along the way. The pussy boy culture is still popular with folk like Pete Daveyson begging for likes online over how much of a loser he is, but I see a light on the horizon.

Teenagers today are brutal people. They are being fed a far more drastic version of what their predecessors were, and they seem to be rejecting it. The cringe aspect is within their grasp firmly, but the funny is yet to be seen. Somebody out there will come along someday and change things just by being there, and standing up for the "concept". They always do.
