More people need to respond to their DMCA notices and plead their cases. As Reddit Legal says in their own messages, they knee-jerk remove content without reviewing whether the DMCAs are erroneous. If more people respond calling the copyright removals bullshit and listing the reasons why, Reddit might finally realize they're being played. Imagine if sites like Wired and Gizmodo found out Reddit allows any public figure to have negative criticism of themselves removed from their platform by kowtowing to floods of illegal DMCAs from their unemployed brothers? This bad press would be a very bad look for Reddit.

The problem is the personal information that you're using to plead your case will be used to dox you. It's not just Joe doing these DMCA complaints.

People hide behind VPNs and have a blast knowing they won't be traced.

You can respond without giving up your personal information. Just because they request it, doesn't mean it must be done. Reddit allows for, and encourages, anonymity. If public figures are abusing their copyright removal process in efforts doxx, stalk, and harass their critics (which is exactly what Joe and Anthony are doing) that's another bad look for them they wouldn't want the public, especially their shareholders, to know.

Ill post up if anything comes of it. In this dmca joe is claiming ownership of the account that posted info of space edge, so this was not super smart. There are also threats of violence in his comment history.
