I think I'll be leaving with them. I really do want to support Ant, but LoS is the only show I consistently watch on the network. TACS is dull more often than not & Gavin's 90s shock jock routine is embarrassing.

I really think that Ant & Keith are underestimating the popularity of the show & the connections to comedians they're about to lose.

Every single LoS fan could cancel tomorrow and it would equate to a tiny part of Compound Media's beer fund. Jesus Christ, LoS fans and LoS themselves have insane delusions of grandeur. You guys are NOBODIES.

Genuinely curious - how many people do you think subscribe to 'Compound Media'? Why do the shows have so few callers? Why do the show threads on here get so few comments? Who is really watching on the days that Ant reads the news for two hours alone?

I like the individuals of LoS, but not the show itself. When Dave Smith or Luis J. Gomez are on TACS, I'm happy. I just can't get into the LoS show.

I'm right there with you. I occasionally listen to Part of the Problem, I've heard a handful of Bonfires, and I've liked Luis on YKWD. I'm aware this is a pretty weak reason, but part of the reason I can't get into the show is Jay and Dave doing those annoying Luis impressions.

For months, they've clearly all been preoccupied with their day jobs and don't have enough material for 2 weekly "hang" shows.

I have mixed feelings. I like being able to tune into LOS whenever I want, but the Cumia studio doesn't really suit them.

I'd like to see an explanation from KTC or Anthony on this one. Good for the fellas. It doesn't really matter to me where they end up, but seems foolish to let them go unless there's a better show to replace it.

I think the show has passed me by. Also I'm sick of hearing Luis. It's been (mostly) great but now it's time to move on and give a new show a chance.

I was enjoying real ass podcast but now that it is not on youtube i can't be bothered to download just audio. that will be the same fate for LoS for me atleast

Won't be missed all that much in my opinion. I think they're going to be losing out on a big subscriber base that would check out their show from time to time. They aren't near big enough to the the flagship of another subscriber based network. Best of luck to them though.

This. They all seem immature to varying degrees, but Luis is like a teenager in a grown man's body. Remember a couple weeks ago when he said he doesn't see the point in getting married when you have a kid? The guy is funny, but he's a complete moron.

LoS is in for a rude awakening. They are a no-name podcast that virtually on one had heard of. Ant gave them a platform and introduced them to thousands of new listeners. They were almost surely losing money before TACS, but Ant took them in anyway and gave them more money than they were bringing in. They put no effort into actually trying to grow the network, and instead just wanted a handout.

Fun fact: If they brought in 1000 new subscribers, or even just a few hundred, they could easily negotiated a huge increase in salary. But they didn't. They just coasted.

I can kind of understand why Big Jay might want to bail, since he's getting bigger and bigger gigs, but it's pretty silly for any of them to think that a podcast is going to make them rich. Ant's pay-wall model works for him since he already has a massive following. Gavin's show probably brought in quite a few new subs, but most of the other shows are probably more for audience retention than audience building. None of the Skanks are popular enough to generate that kind of revenue through a monthly subscription. Their best bet is for Jay to have a free podcast and--through luck and talent and years of effort--to build as big of a following as Joe Rogan or Marc Maron. Luis and Dave are funny but complete nobodies--their best bet is to ride Jay's coattails to the top on a free-but-well-produced podcast.

LOS is awful

Hey everyone. We are sorry to see LoS go. Anthony and I met w Luis last week and we couldnt come to terms on going forward. With the Gas network Luis created it makes sense for LoS to move to a network they have an interest in.

The guys from LoS are always welcome on any show on Compound Media. Anthony has also been invited as a guest going forward on GaS.

Anthony will announce a new show coming to Compound Media today.

Give their time/pay to EAST SIDE DAVE (hiss)!

Pretty Puerto Rican thing to do by signing with Tacs, learning the ins and outs of producing a video podcast, then creating your own network to compete with the guy who put you on. Fucking Luis is a snake. Love LOS but this was a shitty way to go.

I was podcasting 7 years ago. Produced Legion of Skanks by myself and built a home studio 5 years ago up until we moved to the Creek. Been working as a host at Sirius XM for 2 years. What the hell are you talking about?

Anthony Cumia is almost as widely known among radio fans as Howard Stern. Gavin McInnes is a minor celebrity who is a regular on Fox, and is usually in the news or media every week. You should have promoted Compound Media, worked hard to bring in new subscribers, and then you could have simultaneously earned more pay and built your brand.

Hey, I understand the desire to be an entrepreneur and to earn your own money, but if you think jumping to GaS so soon means more money and less work, you're in for a surprise.

Love Ant. Wish him the best. I believe we already have more than 5% of the subs Compound Media has and we launched 2 weeks ago without LOS and Jasta Show. Stand Up shows have never been busier and since the podcast is still going out for free as opposed to being members only that number will continue to grow. Who said the move to GaS is "more money - less work"? It is a tremendous amount of work. I enjoy working. As for more money... we will be making substantially more than the deal that was on the table. You don't know any of the specifics so where do you come up with this?

I never saw your face until TACN. What was your first video podcast? My point being that you used the knowledge you gained at TACN to create your own network. I was late to the LOS party and listened to and enjoyed every episode overe past year and a half. Even bought some merch. TACN LOS with a video element was by far the best LOS there was IMO. Good luck in the future but ima stay loyal to Compound Media.

I promise you that I gained no knowledge of running a podcast network from TACN. They are very mum about the inner workings of a network. I have no access to their analytics, web development specifics, or infrastructure. This was an idea I had before we were on TACN. And our business model is completely different.
